Mega a.s. from Czech republic is providing a complete technology for the production of BIO CNG from BIO Gas.
What is BIO CNG?
In general, technology for biogas upgrading, is able to get as a final product CNG (more than 96% of methane at 250 bars) suitable for cars (and buses, agriculture machines) engines.
As a source we use biogas containg:
min. 50% of methane
max. 2,5% of nitrogen
rest is carbon dioxide and traces of sulphur and water.
Our technology is in container design – easy to build. And typical units are 25, 100, 200 m3/hr of feed (it gives 13, 50, 100 m3/hr of product) other scaleup - based on customer demand.
Such source could be agriculture biogas stations, waste dumps off gases, wastewater treatment plants.
In Enclosed flow scheme you will find scope of supply in written and in the picture (blue area). It means that customer have to prepare space for container, pipe for raw biogas and pipe for gas recycle, electricity cable.
Mega a.s. scope of supply will be technology in container, inclusive bioCNG storage for approx. 8 hr. of production (could be changed based on customer request) and automatic dispenser for cars, trucks or external bioCNG storage(out of our supply, could be supplied based on request).
Regarding OPEX there are these costs only (calculated to product):
- Electricity consumption: 1 – 1.2 kWhr/Nm3= 1-1.2kwHr/ 0.76kgs of BIO CNG
- Other costs (modules 1x for 5 years, compressors service costs, adsorbent): 0.05 EUR/t
- Raw biogas consumption (when methane content is 60%): 1.66 Nm3/Nm3
When you will need to recalculate volume to mass: 1Nm3 = 0.76 kg
